This is a Pre Columbian Colima red painted pottery vessel featuring incised double front facing snake heads.
From the Upstate New York estate of Marshall and Kay Lee. Marshall was a well known collector of Pre-Columbian pottery and a talented and well-respected book designer in the publishing industry.
7" tall. The mouth is 5 3/4 x 3". 7 1/2" across the snakes. 9 1/2" from back to front.
