Description
This is a Pre-Columbian Colima carinated body redware pottery vessel with incised double-headed lizard glyph decorations. This item is described in a certified insurance appraisal dated November 18th 2003 by Harmer Johnson, Appraisers Association of America, prepared for Marshall and Kay J. Lee

From the Upstate New York estate of Marshall and Kay Lee. Marshall was a well known collector of Pre-Columbian pottery and a talented and well-respected book designer in the publishing industry.
14 1/2" diameter. 6" tall. The neck rim diameter is 6 3/4".
Condition
Scattered flakes to the rim and along the midline edge rim. Scattered instances of old professional repairs along the carinated edge and into the body along a crack.
