Description
A Chinese grey jade carved Ruyi scepter, dating from the Qing dynasty. Very fine grey jade carving of the curved scepter with raised lotus tendrils along the body and large Lingzhi head at top come with a custom built silk stand, padded low stand which has ornate red tassle.
L 13" (33 cm)
Provenance: Collection of H. Deakin, prior to 1904. American Art Association, New York, 25th April 1904, lot 1058.
