Description

DESCRIPTION: (3 Pc) A victorian silver & glass double-ended scent bottle. These bottles were meant to hold perfume at one end, and ammoniated smelling salts at the other. The bottles were made by welding two separate bottles together. The glass was then finished with polishing and cutting either in simple panels or elaborate multifaceted designs. This grouping set includes: one (1) cobalt blue colored glass bottle, and two (2) clear colored glass bottles. (P53).

CIRCA: 19th Century.
DIMENSIONS: L: 4" to 5", W: 1" to 1 1/4".
