Southern Calendar Clock Co. 'Fashion" No. 4 Walnut Shelf Clock, St. Louis, MO, Late Nineteenth Century. The molded arched crest surmounted by urn and spire finials, above the glazed door stencilled "FASHION," flanked by ring-turned free-standing columns above a molded base, Seth Thomas eight day time and strike movement, painted sheet metal dials, the upper with subsidiary seconds dial, the lower inscribed "SOUTHERN CALENDAR CLOCK CO., ST. LOUIS, MO, Patented March 18, 1879, and with calendar and day/month apertures. H: 31 in., W: 16.25 in., D: 6 in.
