Description
Roman, Imperial period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A beautiful double unguentarium, a cosmetic vessel comprised of cojoined slender twin-blown tubes, with twin handles. The green surface has aged to a pretty pearlescent silvery-hue that complements the visible green coloration. Great reamins of mineral dn earthen deposits on the exterior and interior of this intact vessel! Size: 3" L x 1.2" W x 4.5" H (7.6 cm x 3 cm x 11.4 cm); 6.5" H (16.5 cm) on included custom stand.
