Description
Erte (Romain de Tirtoff) (French, 1892-1990). Serigraph on paper titled "The Flowered Cape" depicting a women in a rose-covered cape, 1981. Pencil signed along the lower right; numbered 200/300 along the lower left. This work is influenced by "Scheherezade," his first cover design for Harper's Bazaar in January 1915.

No visible tears, creases, or losses. No visible signs of restoration under UV light. The color is bold and bright. Framed under plexiglass; not inspected out of frame. Very light wear to the frame.
