Embossed Serigraph entitled "Kiss of Fire", framed, Erte (Russian/French, 1892-1990), France, 1984; Represents two lovers joined together by their costume. It was inspired by a costume designed for "The Kisses", a scene in a music-hall show at the Théatre Bataclan in Paris in 1918. This is an example of an unusual series of costumes Erté invented at that time and called "Costume Collectif" - these were outfits that held two or more people signed and numbered in Roman Numerals ..Item is located in Corona Del Mar, Ca.
