Impressive banner depicting the U.S.S. Montana below silk and metallic thread embroidered stars, eagle, and flags. "In remembrance of my cruise in Europe, China, Japan, and Philippine Islands". Center shield is probably meant to frame the photograph of the sailor who commissioned this work. 48 x 25 1/2 inches (not including waxed paper backing).

Condition

Probably rarely unwrapped from wax packaging since is original purchase.
