Rare and early American redware toy pitcher, decorated with a mottled magnesium orange glaze, a sweet piece of child's scale pottery. RISD Museum accession number D44.519.146.
Earthenware,3" tall x 2 1/4" dia. at base.
Deaccessioned from The Museum of Art, Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, Rhode Island, D44.519.146. Gift of Mrs. Henry Vaughan to the museum. All proceeds from the collection are being used to further expand and preserve the current collection.
