Description

shape 1313, molded as two spiraling mermaids in waves, around a central column of cattails, the deep edged top decorative with Greek key motif, all supported on a turquoise pedestal base with deep frieze panels of a scroll design, 12"h, 11"w. An example was shown at the Paris Universelle 1878 and appears is illustrated in the exhibition catalogue. Only known example.
