An Extremely Rare Minton Majolica ‘Cherubs’ Tazza c.1860. Designed by Hughes Protat and probably painted by Thomas Kirkby. Modelled as two winged cherubs wrestling a snake around a pedestal base with a collar of laurel and supporting a circular dish with a broad border of interlinked snakes and laurel leaves, the centre with a hand painted scene of playful cherubs, 12 1/2"d, 7"h
