Garden Seat Designed by Hugues Protat c.1875, of waisted cylindrical form, naturalistically molded in relief with large banana leaves wrapped around faux bamboo, Ruyi pattern around the open hand holder and stylised oriental style ‘H’ and ‘P’ (for Hughes Protat) on either side, shape no. 1116 Height 19 1/2 inches.
