A designer late 1920s/early 30s custom-made signed Baker dining room set that includes 2 arm chairs, 4 side chairs, and a splayed-leg bellflower-carved dining room table with banded inlaid top with three leaves. The dining room table was designed to be more narrow and a little bit longer than a standard dining room table due to the apartment that James Shellow's mother had at the time. They special ordered this table and chairs through Baker. This is an extremely high-quality well-constructed solid mahogany dining room set with chippendale cross-back floral carved chairs, bellflower-carved legs, two skirted leaves & one standard leaf. This tabletop and leaves and been professionally refinished by Holtz brothers of Germantown, WI and the overall condition is excellent and house ready, and this is quite an unusual and elegant dining room set. The table with all the leaves in it measures 30" tall X 39" across X 66" deep and with all the leaves it measures 99" deep.
