This highly detailed and sharply defined photograph represents office workers at the Miami Daily News, owned by newspaper publisher James Cox (American, 1870-1957). Architects Leonard B. Schultze (American, 1877-1951) and S. Fullerton Weaver (American, 1880-1939) built this iconic building in a Mediterranean Revival style in 1925, This building served as a Cuban Refugee Emergency Center starting in 1962 and is known today as the "Freedom Tower", Housed with a white mat.
