Description
Photographer Gleason Waite Romer (American, 1887-1971) stunningly captured a group of workers posing in the archways Interior Hall of the Miami Daily News Building. This highly detailed and sharply defined photograph was possible due to his use of silver print developing technique. Architects Leonard B. Schultze (American, 1877-1951) and S. Fullerton Weaver (American, 1880-1939) built this historical building in a Mediterranean Revival style with the architectural decor of the Interior Hall that exemplifies the Spanish Renaissance Revival of the 1920s. This photograph includes a typed description of this iconic space. Housed with a white mat. Mat size: 16"W x 20"H. Photo size: 14"W x 11"H.
