Description
This Folk art Jacaranda wood hand carving of St George seating on a rearing horse as the Saint slays the dragon in his gaping mouth with a thick pole. Neither the sharp-toothed horse nor St George look at the dragon. Instead their protruding eyes face straight ahead as their faith guides them to defeat evil. The deep carved figures are compressed in a vertical style with the wood that serves as a "frame". Size: 10"L x 5.60"W x 29.50"H.
