JOHANN ADAM EYER (PENNSYLVANIA, 1755-1837), ATTRIBUTED, FOLK ART FRAKTUR DRAWING / RELIGIOUS TEXT, watercolor and ink on laid paper, depicting Adam and Eve standing on communion cup-form pedestals at the Tree of Life, featuring the serpent wrapped around the trunk, religious inscriptions frame the scene, the upper sides having two pairs of angels with their hands raised, the pair near the center each hold tulips in one hand, the verso with three old cut-out pieces of paper used as supports including a fragment of an inventory list in the lower corner. Unframed. Late 18th century. 7 5/8" x 13" OA.

Condition
Fair to good as-found condition with overall toning, scattered spotting and stains, several tears, a loss at top of tree trunk, Adam with a small loss, edges with several losses, back with three paper supports and some pieces of tape.
