Stunning spencerian print of a lion with black head and feet. This elegant lion is in the spencerian style popular in the 1850s to 1920s. This style evokes the elegant script of calligraphy that was popularly used at the time. The detail on this piece is exquisite and is sure to garner compliments wherever it is hung. The dimensions are 23in x 29in. This piece is in very good condition for its age and the signs of aging on the paper only add to its charm. There are a few stray white paint marks.
