Two (2) Works Progress Administration-era regionalist prints. 1st item: James Edmund Allen (American/New York/Louisiana, 1894-1964) lithograph on paper titled "Heavy Plowing" depicting two horses and a figure plowing fields with a background of rolling hills with rural architecture. Pencil signed "James E Allen" lower right. Housed and matted in a balck frame under glass. Sheet: 8" H x 12" W. Sight: 9 3/4" H x 13 3/4" W. Framed: 17 1/4" H x 21 1/4" W. 2nd item: Fred Nagler (American/New York/Texas, 1891-1983) copperplate etching on paper depicting an interior scene of a woman playing the piano, visible through a doorway, with another figure seated outside the room. Pencil signed "Fred Nagler" lower right. Housed and matted in a black frame under glass. Sheet: 7 1/2" H x 5 3/4" W. Sight: 8 1/4" H x 6 1/4" W. Framed: 13" H x 9 3/4" W.

Condition
1st item: Moderate foxing spots and toning throughout, especially along margins. Slight buckling to paper. 2nd item: Slight toning, otherwise in very good condition. Neither work examined outside of frame.
