Description
McDonald, Edward Dixon (American/Cleveland, OH, 1890-1950), Hot Ingot - Soaking Pits, Otis Steel Co., 1932, watercolor on board, signed and dated lower left, titled on the artist's label affixed to the verso, 21 x 14 inches, in a green wood frame 23 x 16.5 inches. McDonald was a prominent architectural artist who twice won medals in the Prix de Rome competitions. A WPA era interior steelmaking scene.
Condition
In generally good condition; some old dampstaining visible to the bottom edge of the verso that is barely noticeable on the front.
