Description

McDonald, Edward Dixon (American/Cleveland, OH, 1890-1950), Giant Presses - Truscon Steel Co, Cleveland, Pressed Steel Division, 1931, watercolor on board, signed and dated lower right, titled on the artist's label affixed to the verso, 21 x 14 inches, in a green wood frame 23 x 16.5 inches. McDonald was a prominent architectural artist who twice won medals in the Prix de Rome competitions. A WPA era interior manufacturing scene.

Condition

In generally good condition; some old dampstaining visible to the bottom edge of the verso that is barely noticeable on the front.
