**First Time At Auction**

First Nations, Northwestern Canada, Inuit people, ca. mid-20th century CE. An interesting soapstone carving of a predatory animal chowing down on prey. The slinky body and long tail suggest a creature in the weasel family- perhaps a wolverine or ermine. The underside is etched with an indiscernible disc number for an unknown artist. Size: 6" L x 3" W x 2.5" H (15.2 cm x 7.6 cm x 6.4 cm)
