Featured in this lot is an etching titled "#69 Scratchin' High," by artist Edward Borein who was born in 1872, and died in 1945. The etching features a wonderfully and professionally crafted construction with a cowboy riding a bucking horse with his hand and quirt in the air. The etching has been examined by Fine Art Appraisals and conducted by Harold G. Davidson. It is determined to be a restrike impression pulled circa 1980-1981. The condition of this framed etching is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this framed etching are 15 5/8" x 13 3/8" and the visible artwork measures 8 3/8" x 6 1/2". Provenance: This artwork is from the collection of Mr. Karol Vardell.*
