Description
Roman, Imperial period, ca. 1st to 2nd century CE. A stunning intaglio featuring a winged Victoria (Greek Nike), the Roman goddess of victory, hand-carved from green plasma showcasing a rich hue of viridian. The elegant deity strides left, holding out a wreath symbolizing triumph with a spear slung over her shoulder. Easily set in a pendant or ring for a wearable piece of ancient history! Size: 0.3" W x 0.5" H (0.8 cm x 1.3 cm)
