(1) Leather Bomber Jacket, manufactured by Ralph Edwards sportswear for the USN Bureau of Navel Weapons; Contract No. QM (CTM) 214-C-62. Size 44. with sewn patch of the Great Seal of the President. (1) Page letter from Ronald Reagan to Dave Powers written on July 12, thanking him for the loan of the jacket, signed, "Ronald Reagan." (1) Color photograph of J.F.K. wearing jacket on Sept 22 as he watched the America's Cup race, 5" x 7". (3) Photographs of Air Force One jacket being worn by J.F.K. and R.F.K., 8" x 10" each. Condition: Condition, good with overall even wear. Small puncture to knit waist band. Notes: This jacket belonged to and was worn by J.F.K. and gifted by J.F.K. to Dave Powers in 1962 or 1963. According to Dave Powers' confidants, the jacket was a topic of discussion on many occasions during Dave Powers' tenure at the Kennedy Library. A truly rare and unique opportunity being presented with written documentation and provenance.
