Memphis Belle. Memphis Belle was one of the first United States Army Air Forces B-17 heavy bombers to complete 25 combat missions. She inspired the making of two motion pictures: a 1944 documentary film, Memphis Belle: A Story of a Flying Fortress and the 1990 Hollywood feature film, Memphis Belle. 10” x 8” black and white photograph of the plane, signed by six crew members: Captain Robert K. Morgan (inscription and signature are badly faded), James Varinis (1916-2003) “Lt. Col. James Verinis Co-pilot,” Robert J. Hanson (1920-2005) “Robert J. Hanson ‘Radio’,” Harold P. Loch (1919-2004) “Harold P. Loch Flt. Eng. Top Turret,” John P. Quinlan “T/Sgt J. P. Quinlan ‘Tail Gunner’” and Casmer A "Tony" Nastal (1920-2002) “To Debra & Bill, From the crew of ‘Memphis Belle’ Cass ‘Tony’ Nastel Waist Gunner.” Double matted and framed to 15” x 14 ½.
