Grouping of Korean War period photograph albums constructed by United States Air Force Staff Sergeant Joseph M Frezza (1928-2013) a member of the 343rd Bomb Squadron. Grouping of 4 photograph albums include; 1.) Album measuring 13" x 10" containing 142 photographs measuring 2" x 3" to 9" x 11" (many of larger sizes). Many photographs include images of B-29's from the squadron with details of nose art, views of personnel from squadron, views of the airbase, and views of areas of Japan including Tokyo. Album contains a Certificate for the Golden Dragon (Crossing the International Date Line) dated January 15, 1950 issued to Joseph M. Frezza. 2.) Album measuring 13" x 10" containing 67 photographs measuring 3" x 4" to 9" x 11" (many of larger sizes) with most being aerial images of Korea as used for reconnaissance. Several pages with images in front of album exhibit water damage. 3.) Album measuring 13" x 10" containing 186 photographs measuring 2.5" x 3.5" to 9" x 11.5" (predominantly 4" x 5"). Images show various scenes around Japan with some related to military personnel and the air base. 4.) Album measures 8" x 13" with first page titled "1947-1949 Joseph Michael Frezza". Album includes 189 photographs measuring 3" x 2.5" detailing Frezza's military basic training, and trips to Texas, Tennessee, Washington DC, Colorado, Kansas as well as images of the Doylestown, Pennsylvania airport. Album shows numerous aircraft related images. Grouping sold with grouping of photography and ephemera related to a Naval Orientation Cruise aboard the aircraft carrier USS Lexington in March of 1969 that Frezza participated on.
