Poster, 14" x 22", December 7, 1970, New York, NY, produced by Murray Poster Printing Co. Inc. Muhammad Ali vs. Oscar Bonavena was held at Madison Square Garden. Ali would go on to win the fight through a technical knockout in the 15th round. The poster features promotional text including - "See it 'Live' on BIG screen Closed Circuit TV" - "No Home TV" - "Live & Exclusive via Closed Circuit TV" - Some foxing and staining, else fine.
Poster, 14" x 22", March 8, 1971, New York, NY, produced by A Music Fair Enterprises, Inc. The World's Heavyweight Championship between Joe Frazier & Muhammad Ali was held at Madison Square Garden. The poster features promotional text including - "The Only Way to See - The Fight" "No Live Radio, TV or Delayed Home TV" - "Allentown Fair Grounds." The bout marked Ali's return to the marquee three-and-a-half years after boxing commissions revoked his license over his refusal to fight in the Vietnam War. Frazier, who knocked Ali down with a left hook in the 15th round, won by unanimous decision. Some foxing, water staining, else fine.
