Description
Pair of Szmul Szkarlat (Polish, XIX) Polish silver Shabbat candlesticks, each struck "Szkarlat" and with Russian Imperial hallmark for Warsaw, struck "84" and with Assaymaster's marks of Josef Sosnkowski and dated 1893, of typical form, with fluted bobeches, and grape-and-rose repousse patterned turned baluster form in round bases similarly engraved, each on three grapevine feet. Weight: 22.69 ozt; 12.75" H x 5.5" diameter.
