Pre columbian, Maya-Teotihuacan Tripod Vase, Mexico Ca. 600 to 800 AD. Size 5 inches high x 4 1/2 inches diameter. Blackware pottery Tripod vase with incised decoration. Provenance: EX: Seymour collection acquired the collection in the 1970's, Ex: Estate of Leonard Davis deceased 2005, Gifted to Leonard Davis from Margaret Reisberg., Ca. 600 to 900 AD. Size 13 5/8 inches diameter x 2 1/2 inches high. A sizeable round example with shallow sloped side walls, raised on three short legs. Overall decorated in polychrome Shaman Head. Provenance: EX: Seymour collection acquired the collection in the 1970's, Ex: Estate of Leonard Davis deceased 2005, Gifted to Leonard Davis from Margaret Reisberg.
