Chinese Ming Dynasty Jiajing Wucai Porcelain Dish Plate. The plate has a broad wide central interior, rounded mouth lip, thick and large, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against wucai design color depicted of celebration folk on with festival ornament surrounded with flowers bloom and tendril. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.

The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue ring lines. Made in The Years Jiajing Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
