Seund Ja Rhee (June 3, 1918 – March 8, 2009) was a South Korean painter, sculptor, and illustrator. She also designed tapestries and mosaics.She was a prolific artist who left more than 1,000 paintings, more than 700 prints, 250 ceramics, and numerous paintings. In her lifetime, she exhibited mainly in France and Korea through 84 individual and 300 group exhibitions. In 1958, she moved to Tourletes, Bar, France, and finally built a large atelier and exhibition room, the Milky Way.
