DESCRIPTION: Viennese cold painted bronze orientalist figural sculpture desk set comprising of a four footed black marble pen tray presenting a man observing a sword atop a colorful rug with details of other weapons, an amphora, books, a table, a hookah and vases. Includes an accompanying marble ink blotter with a sculpture of a seated man wearing a robe on a rug holding a rifle and a curved brass bottom.
Right side of the rug on the tray is inscribed with signature "Chotka". Lower back side of the man atop the ink blotter is impressed "Austria".
CIRCA: Late 19th to Early 20th Century
ORIGIN: Austria
