Architectural and loose rendering of the cathedral under grey skies, matted behind glass and framed.
Originally from Jackson, MS, Constance Morrill attended Stephens College and the art school at Washington University, where she studied under, and later married, famed St. Louis artist Frederick Conway. A watercolorist and member of the American Watercolor Society, her painting Morning at the Track hung in the Metropolitan Museum in New York in December 1966. This piece is signed "Constance Bradshaw Conway", as it was created during or after her marriage to Fred Conway.
Sight: 18 1/4 x 14 1/4 in. (46.4 x 36.2 cm.), frame: 27 3/4 x 23 3/4 in. (70.5 x 60.3 cm.)
