Description
This is an Oliver Iron Mining railroad brass pancake lock. Henry Oliver started the Oliver Iron Mining Company in Minnesota in the 1890. The had their own mine trains and artifacts from the railroad, which would interchange cars with the Duluth Missabe and Iron Range, are uber-rare! This is the only pancake lock we have ever seen from the mine. Does not have a key. Cast with “O.I.M. Co. 6-LEVER on the front, and is stamped with what looks like 92AR on the bottom of the front as well.
