A group of eight (8) Mexican Aztec mythology figure acrylic on leather panel paintings depicting Aztec gods and figures in various poses and positions including Huitzilopochtli, the God of the Sun and War, Toci (also known as Coatlicue), the Mother of All the Gods, Xilonen (also known as Chicomecoatl), the Goddess of Agriculture, and Uixtochihuatl (also known as Huixtocihuatl). Also included is a pane which depicts Etzalqualiztli, a feast held in celebration of the Goddess Chalchiuhtlicue, the Goddess of Water. Artist names illegibly ink signed on back of five panes. Measurements are approximate.
