Item Details

Description

Antique Ormolu silver mounted medallion courting jewelry dresser casket, with ornate scrollwork pattern, nude winged figures feet and Watteau-type courting images and flowers on silver medallions. The box measures 7" x 4.75" x 4.75" (inch). The silver medallions show tarnish, lock and key do not work, bottom is not in place, and lining is coming off the frame. There is some wobbling and verdigris on a few spots. Lid does not sit perfectly flat, and a small ball is missing from one end. However, hinges properly and the frame and medallions are in good vintage condition.
