Description
JAPANESE MEIJI / TAISHO-PERIOD IMARI PORCELAIN DISHES, LOT OF TWO, each featuring underglaze blue designs with polychrome hand-painted decorations featuring floral basket motifs, comprising a 11 3/4" D square-form example and an ovoid-form example having blue hand-brushed symbol to underside. Second half 19th/first quarter 20th century. Ovoid dish 13 1/4" x 9 7/8".

Condition
Ovoid example undamaged, except each having some minor light short scattered scratches with enamel wear; square example having rim with minor chip and two flakes.
