JAPANESE MEIJI-PERIOD SATSUMA HAND-PAINTED CERAMIC 15-PIECE TEA SET, comprising a teapot, a creamer, a sugar, and six cup and saucer sets, each featuring polychrome scenes to each side depicting figures in garden-like settings with cobalt ground and gilt decorations. Each having gilt-printed Shimazu clan mark with two additional symbols to underside. Circa 1900. 6 3/8" HOA.
