CHINESE CARVED JADE / JADEITE COVERED CABINET VASE, ovoid form with low relief carving to sides featuring dragon heads, cover with knop finial, vase having small dragon head handles to side of neck with hanging rings, including a possibly original teak stand with thin silver inlay, also featuring a partial receipt from the Antique Oriental Art Gallery of Rufus E. Moore (1840-1918), New York City, that reads "Jadeite Vase of the quality known as blue jade...Ch'ien Lung period. From the Palace at Peking. 1900". Unmarked. Reportedly Ch'ien Lung period (1736-1796), but possibly later. Vase 5" HOA, 3 3/4" H rim.Â

Condition
Vase with sizable chip to rim, otherwise in excellent condition; stand with broken foot having glue repair, a few spots of lifting of inlay, one spot with loss of inlay and lifting; note with wear and tears.
