RUSSIAN 0.875 SILVER, AND POSSIBLY OTHER SILVER, FLATWARE, LOT OF SIX, comprising a pair of tablespoons with 1878 assayer marks for Viktor Vasilyevich Savinsky or Vladimir Stepanovich Smirnov, a pair of forks with 1872 assayer marks for Viktor Vasilyevich Savinsky or Veniamin Vasilyevich Savinsky, a tablespoon with 1894 assayer mark for Aleksandr Alekseyevich Smirnov, and a fork with possibly spurious 1880 assayer mark. Each with "84" zolotniki mark for 0.875 silver fineness, a maker's mark, a Moscow city mark, and an assayer mark, one or some may be spurious marks. Total weight: 13.950 ozt. Second half 19th century. 8 1/8" to 8 1/2" LOA.
Condition
Very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including slight bending, nicks, and/or possibly one or a few minute/minor dents.Â
