GORHAM "CHANTILLY" STERLING SILVER 145-PIECE FLATWARE SERVICE, pattern designed in 1895 by William C. Codman, a few pieces with personalized engravings to handles; comprising 12 place forks, 12 salad fork, 12 cocktail/seafood forks, 12 ice cream forks, seven oval soup/dessert spoons, 12 iced tea spoons, 23 teaspoons, 12 demitasse spoons, 12 hollow-handled knives with stainless blades, 12 butter spreaders, a small meat serving fork, an olive/pickle fork, a lemon fork, three serving/tablespoons, a salad serving spoon with scalloped bowl, a gravy ladle, a cream ladle, a sugar spoon with scalloped bowl, a jelly server, a tomato server, two bon bon spoons with pierced bowls, four individual salt spoons, and a butter knife. Each piece with "STERLING" and maker's marks. Total weight excluding 12 hollow-handled place knives: 132.02 ozt. Gorham Mfg. Co., Providence, RI. 20th century. 2 3/4" to 9 1/2" LOA.
