This 2-piece, 3-tip rod has a staggered ferrule configuration with a 33" butt section, two 54 3/4" tips, and one 55 1/2" tip. A 22 1/2" bamboo 'ferrule plug' accompanies this rod. This rod has brown wraps tipped yellow, a black modern Perfection style stripper, and the butt cap is stamped: "Made For Abercrombie & Fitch", and it has an extra wide sliding band. One tip has wraps that are slightly lighter than the other wraps. Although the tube is from the Jim Payne era, this model is not listed in a Payne catalog, all things considered, it may well be a post Jim Payne rod. It has a non-Payne light green bag and early Payne brass-capped tube with a well-worn label.
