Walter Addison, New York, 1914-1982. Grouping of approximately 80 pages of mostly Bronx Zoo related promotional artwork, and children's book related illustrated artwork, most unsigned but attributed to Walter Addison. Most in good condition. Circa 1940-70. Provenance: Consigned by family. All artwork was found in his cottage in Washington Depot, Connecticut, on the banks of the Shepaug River, where he lived with his wife Rhoda from 1965 until his death in 1982.
