A fine traveling writing box unit having a fitted and removable stamp storage unit over a double door slant front over 1 long single drawer. The slant front with letter holders, 2 cut glass inkwells, and pen holders. The doors in rosewood and the frame in fruitwood - double brass handles on sides and brass ornaments on front. Overall very good condition. Measures 12 1/2"W x 10 1/4" x 12 1/2"H. Circa 1880.
