East Asia, China, Ming Dynasty, ca. 15th to 16th century CE. A large pottery openwork tile or window presenting a symmetrical floral pattern in an overall octagonal form, covered in deep teal glaze of marvelous blue-green hues, now with light touches of iridescence. Size: 12.5" L x 12" W (31.8 cm x 30.5 cm)
