Ca. 1368-1644 AD.A moulded terracotta figure depicting a rider on horseback. The horse's neck stretches forward, and its tail is depicted in a loose, flowing manner. The animal's mane is glazed in green. The horse's trappings, including the bridle, breastplate, saddle blanket, and breeching, are all moulded in the round and colored in a green and yellow glaze. The rider is depicted wearing a cap and a green and yellow garment. Size: L:405mm / W:355mm ; 3.21kg Provenance: East Anglian private collection; formerly acquired in the early 1990s in Hong Kong.
