Robert Loughlin (American, 1949-2011) acrylic on found object depicting the portrait of a brute man smoking cigarette painted on cast iron shield, apparently unsigned. 28" H x 22.5" W. Note: Gary Carlson, the inspiration for Loughlin's Brute portrait, confirmed that Robert Loughlin painted this work in New York.
