Accompanying the bowl is a carved turtle shell spoon of an elongated triangular form with a rounded lower end and an angled top with a petite perforation. One side of the upper body bears a twisted sennet fiber cord knotted along the bowl interior and was at one time knotted through the spoon perforation.
